Hello,
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) as well as the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a qualified integrative counsellor drawing upon different modalities to tailor specifically to your needs.
My passion for looking after others started in school, where I supported young people on the Autistic Spectrum as a Peer Mentor and then volunteer Youth Worker whilst doing A-Level and attending university. After graduating with a BSc Honours degree in Psychology, I worked as a Key Worker at various secondary schools, sixth forms and higher education colleges in Jersey for more than a decade. I also gained an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and have over 10 years’ experience working with adolescent students and adults on the Autistic Spectrum. My experience also includes working in emergency services assessing for trauma and looking after wellbeing.

More recently I have been counselling clients with a range of difficulties I was also a volunteer bereavement therapist at a local hospice. I’ve also worked as a therapeutic counsellor for a local equality and diversity charity supporting LGBTQIA+ including sexuality, gender and HIV. I’m also writing about a book geared towards parents and children surrounding LGBTQ issues.
Using a person-centred approach can help you to reconnect with your inner values and sense of self-worth, enabling you to find your own way to move forward and progress and other techniques specifically selected with you in mind, to help further your empowerment.
